Antique Roses/Old Garden Roses, as defined by the American Rose Society, refer to roses developed before 1867, when the first hybrid tea was released. In fact, old garden roses continued to be developed into the beginning of the 20th century. Most of them are once bloomers. They include: gallicas, albas, damasks, centifolias, mosses, Scotch briers, hybrid perpetuals, and bourbons. Our offerings have been selected for cold hardiness and disease resistance. The fragrances are exquisite.
