Canadian Explorer roses were developed by the Canadian government through Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) from the late 1960s through 1999. While not fragrant, these selections are disease resistant, floriferous and hardy to zone 3. Some are climbers, others are shrubs.
